Agentic Planner: Research, Suggest the Best Next Posts, and Auto-Draft (AI Studio Pro)

T By TechsGenius Editorial Jun 29, 2026 2 views

Agentic Planner researches what you’ve already published, suggests the best next posts to write — ranked by the gap they fill — then drafts the one you pick, automatically.

What Agentic Planner does

Planner is the “what should I write next?” agent. It looks at your existing content, researches the topic space, and returns a ranked shortlist of next posts — each with an opportunity (gap) score, the keywords it targets, and a one-line reason. Tap one and it becomes a new document and drafts itself. It is closely related to Discovered Ideas — Planner is the research-and-plan front door to the same agentic drafting.

Agentic Planner at a glance
  1. Open Agentic Planner
  2. It researches what you’ve published
  3. Review the ranked next-post suggestions
  4. Pick one — it becomes a new document
  5. The agent drafts it automatically
  6. Optimise & publish

Step-by-step

1Open Agentic Planner

Do this
  1. In the Analyser Editor, open Start Here.
  2. Choose Agentic Planner (“Research the next content idea and draft it automatically”).

2It researches & suggests the best next posts

What you’ll see

A ranked list of ideas, each with an opportunity score, a gap tag, the target keywords, and a short reason — “builds topical authority,” “captures bottom-of-funnel demand,” and so on.

3Pick one — it drafts automatically

Click the idea you want. It becomes a new document and the agent writes the full first draft, then scores and colour-codes it so it is ready to optimise.

The picked idea becomes a new post and drafts itself — scored and colour-coded in the editor.

4Optimise & publish

From here it is the standard editor flow — Re-analyze, Agentic Improve, fix over-optimisation, place internal links, generate the meta, and Save & Publish. See the Optimise a Post walkthrough for that part.

Tips

  • Run Planner after publishing a few posts — the more it can read, the sharper the gaps it finds.
  • Start with the highest gap score, but read the reason to match search intent.
  • Use Planner to build a cluster one strategic post at a time; use Bulk Writer when you want the whole batch at once.
  • Always optimise the draft before publishing — Planner gets you a strong start, not the finish line.

FAQ

How is Planner different from Discovered Ideas?

They share the same agentic drafting. Planner frames it as a research-and-plan step that ranks the best next posts; Discovered Ideas surfaces gap-based topics from the editor. Use whichever entry point you prefer.

What do the scores mean?

They rank the opportunity — how big a gap the post fills relative to your current coverage. Higher = stronger opportunity.

Is the draft final?

No — it is a strong first draft. Score and optimise it in the editor before publishing.

Plan your next post

Open Agentic Planner, let it research and rank your best next posts, and draft the one you pick. See the full Analyser Editor guide or the AI Studio Pro walkthrough.
